FORMAT

All stays are packaged and priced as one of the 6 different packages presented on the website: Sautos, Kallo, Linkka, Luspa, Saivo, Vuolus. They range from a two-day/one-night stay to a five-day/four-night stay. All packages are privately guided and arranged exclusively for one party at a time. The six packaged itineraries are specifically designed to create an optimal experience and flow for the guest and are based on our expertise of the area and on our longtime experience of welcoming guests to Lapland.

LOCATION

Fjellborg Arctic Lodge is situated in the vast, unspoiled wilderness area of northern Sweden which forms part of Arctic Lapland. The lodge is located by a lake in the middle of the wild with no visible road access. Means of transfer are snowmobile, dogsled or helicopter. It is a remote yet very accessible setting – only 5 minutes from Kiruna Airport with helicopter, or 180 minutes with private jet from London. The nearest town is Kiruna. Its airport, Kiruna Airport, is fully equipped to cater to private jets of all sizes and is situated 90 minutes away from Arlanda Airport in Stockholm. Commercial airlines SAS and Norwegian fly Stockholm-Kiruna-Stockholm several times a day.

ACCOMMODATION

Fjellborg Arctic Lodge consists of a Master Cabin, an adjacent Main Lodge (lounge and dining hall) and a number of smaller guest cabins.

During their stay at Fjellborg Arctic Lodge, guests have exclusive use of the 4 bedroom Master Cabin, which offers total privacy and great space for entertainment and relaxation. The Master Cabin is distinctively Northern in its style and ambiance. The ground floor features a large entertaining area with a fireplace, three bedrooms with twin over full bunk beds (twin beds’ width: 90 cm, full beds’ width: 130 cm). The master bedroom with a king-size bed is located on the first floor of the cabin. There is a spacious bathroom with WC and shower as well as a sauna and an outdoor hot tub for soothing evening relaxation. Central and floor heating as well as wifi is available in the whole lodge. All bedrooms and the sauna overlook the lake.

MEALS

All meals are included in the packages (except alcoholic beverages). At Fjellborg Arctic Lodge we believe in eating fresh and eating local. Our Chef uses locally sourced fish, game, vegetables, berries and mushrooms to create gourmet meals based on the exciting Lappish cuisine. If you have caught a fish on one of our ice fishing excursions, our Chef can prepare a beautiful meal with your catch in the evening. Care and attention are always given to varying tastes and appetites, as well as to specific dietary requirements. Breakfast and dinner is served in the adjacent Main Lodge, which also houses a lounge for drinks and snacks. If the guests prefer enjoying dinner in the privacy of their Master Cabin, this is also possible. Lunch is always served in connection with a midday activity outside of the lodge.

ACTIVITIES

All activities are included in the packaged price. They are of highest quality and designed to optimize the well-being of the guest. They all start and end just outside the door of the Master Cabin. All of them are exclusive and adjustable in length and level of difficulty. A normal midday tour – snowmobile, dogsled, ICEHOTEL or Sámi camp – is on average 3 hours long (including lunch). The ice sculpting class is on average 1 hour long and snow shoes / ice fishing is available around the camp at all times. All our guides are senior and highly skilled and experienced.
